A Wealth of Experience at a Reasonable Cost
Fred W. Thompson
Mr. Thompson is first and foremost a litigator. He has substantial trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. His litigation experience includes business matters, construction law, contracts, employment law, fraudulent transfer allegations, health care law, real property law, personal injury cases, and trust disputes.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Thompson also assists individuals and companies with business entity formation (corporations, LLC, partnerships...) and business transactions. Mr. Thompson has experience dealing with a range of transactions from contract and lease reviews to assisting with a multi-million dollar international acquisition of a medical device manufacturer. In addition, his litigation background provides additional perspective when it comes to advising business clients. By observing the claims made by litigants in these types of business disputes, he can often suggest language, discussions, or additional agreements during the drafting stage in an effort to avoid future litigation and the hassle, fees, and costs associated with such claims.
Mr. Thompson graduated from Occidental College in 1997. In 2000 he graduated from University of California, Hastings College of Law and he was admitted to the California State Bar later that same year.
